LSU coach disputes UF a bubble team

LSU coach Trent Johnson, talking to media on Wednesday at the SEC Tournament in Nashville, thinks Florida shouldn't be called a bubble team, that the Gators should be in the NCAA Tournament already.

"My goodness, I think Florida _ Billy (Donovan) gets punished for winning two national championships back to back, but he's won 20 games three years in a row. Why are we talking about them as a bubble?''

Most forecasters feel UF needs to win one, maybe two games, in the SEC tourney that starts Thursday. The Gators play Auburn at 7:30 p.m. Ironically, the Tigers knocked Florida, the 2006 and 2007 national champions, out of an NCAA bid last year by beating Gators in the SEC Tournament in Tampa.

If they're not a bubble team they're the 65th seed.

Florida is the 4th best team in the SEC. So either Florida gets in or the SEC should only get 3 teams.
